This particular Queen of Swords always makes me smile. She’s pruning—and it’s that pruning that keeps her roses healthy and happy. Oddly enough, neither the Queen nor her husband seemed too concerned it’s him being pruned. Fair enough; she only prunes dead weight and what is fairly and appropriately cut from the rosebush.
Who am I to judge?
Make judgments on what (or whom) remains and what is cut fairly and without either undue sentimentality or rancor. It’s all business, okay? Rational observation, facts and justification wins the day and provides the healthiest blooms. The entire plant suffers if dead weight isn’t removed. The entire plant thrives is pruning is well-executed.
Do you have pruning to do?

Not right now, as far as I know. I have been pruning in the garden, and planting new seeds.
