“Hope is definitely not the same thing as optimism. It is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out.” Vaclav Havel
The Star is an Aquarian card, big and future-focused. With Aquarius, there is a coolness, a detachment even with the highest ideals. The hope we ascribe to the Star is like this…a little shocking at times, naked and even raw in it’s scope.
The hope this maiden beholds is not promise, nor Pollyanna. It’s just a way of seeing, a special perspective that acknowledges the potential for better (and understands it doesn’t matter how “better” is dressed).
“It’s all for the best, because there is no other option.” By definition, whatever happens is a function of the energies in motion and therefore, all IS as it should be, because it can be no other way.
If it should be another way, it would be.
And that’s my quirky way of looking at the star. Aquarians would approve, I like to think.
What do you see in the Star?

Yes, as a Sun/Mercury conjunction and Venus in Aquarius this is how I’ve been mulling through the days lately.
Wow! What a wonderful quote, to start things off! Thanks for sharing it. I am always just blown away, excited, and fed by the things I find said (written) around here. This Aquarian always highly and warmly (Leo rising) approves of what you say.
