11/12/13: Tread Softly / Death

Sorry to say, but this Death feels harsh to me. If you’re not hit, assume somebody is. Exercise kindness muscles today.

Oy vey. We’ve got Mr. Grim himself today, no cushion, no disguise. Death has come a’callin. What is there to say?

You deal with what you need to deal with, I guess. You cry your tears and pack up your mess and you head home, wherever home is. A hot bath and sleep if you can manage it, and you get up tomorrow and go about the business of living.

Some days are easy. Some are hard. This particular Death feels harsh to me. But following the High Priestess as he is, I can’t help but wonder if we didn’t see the end coming.

This may not be your message today. I hope not! It may be around you or you may be one of the lucky ones who isn’t particularly touched. If you find yourself in such a place, the best thing to do is be thankful and be kind to everyone you meet. You never know who is on the other side of your gaze, you know? You don’t know that person’s innermost secrets and it may be the very person whose life just got restructured.

No matter where your personal fortunes fall, this is a day to tread softly and speak kindly.

Are you feeling this energy?

  1. I am, but I’m PMS’ing and exhausted, too.

  2. Interesting card this morning after last night dream filled night.

Definitely feeling the vibe & wise advice for me today.

  3. Also just noticed the bird in the background. Probably a vulture due to the card yet he’s “flying off into the sunset” and that’s a good thing.

  4. Feeling a bit “meh” lately, but that is more the death in this season then in my personal life.
