On the heels of Death, these Lovers showing up makes me think of the times when I’ve been the most distressed throughout my years. It doesn’t matter if it’s a family blow-out, marriage trouble, financial disaster, or a literal death…whatever the crisis is, there’s one thing such intense periods do very well.
Intensely difficult periods show us who loves us, demonstrating that love in a very tangible way. They lift us up with their kindness and caring. I’d be willing to venture not a single person this reaches cannot think of someone in their lives who has shown up for them in this way.
Today, take a minute to feel gratitude for the people who love you. Value them. And be one of them—be someone who loves fully, unconditionally and with the whole soul. And don’t you think for one little minute it doesn’t make a difference.
