The reversed Knight of Swords always makes me think, blunt, blunt, blunt! He can without thought spew out a string of exceptionally cutting remarks. Look at that switchblade, unfurled without warning. Maybe his goofy groupies in the background idealize his obvious rebel persona, but that would just make any criticism coming from him sting more, not less.
I would add that honesty and truth are not a mitigating factor here—that’s exactly what gives his verbal utterances so much bite! If he was wrong, his words would not be nearly as cutting. As a detached communicator, his superpower is potentially cutting through years of denial with what is, to him, just an off-hand remark.
Like all superpowers, his can be used to powerful effect, for good or ill. If you find yourself gifted with his power, please use it judiciously to avoid unnecessary carnage. You’ll be glad you did.
