Repeated sightings of the number 11? I was just asked about this from one of my people, so I thought I’d post on it. I’ve had periods myself when I saw 11’s everywhere I looked. It’s a little disconcerting, even though I usually think of 11 as a “friendly number.”
From Doreen Virtue’s Angel Numbers––
“Pay attention to your repetitive thoughts and ideas, as they’re answers to your prayers. This number also suggests a highly creative person who needs to avoid addictive behaviors.”
Hans Decoz, author of Numerology, the Key to Your Inner Self, has this to say:
“As a rule of thumb, when a person keeps seeing the same number pattern – sometimes with slight variations – it points to two things. The meaning of the numbers involved are a current issue for the individual, and the numbers function as a warning to get the person to pay attention.
For example, when the number 11 is prominent within the pattern, as seems to be the case more often than any other number, intuition – or the acceptance thereof – is an issue, and ….. you better take some time and make the effort to figure out what your subconscious is trying to tell you.” [Read the rest here.]
Being who I am, doing the work I do, I’m not inclined to use the word “coincidence” much. You know? So yeah, I try to figure it out.

My husband and I both became aware of the 11:11 phenomenon back in the 80’s. One night, we both noticed the number on the clock and said at the same time, “Make a wish!” You know how couples will start saying the same thing at the same time, right? Well, we’re still saying it all these years later whenever we see it.
The 11:11 phenom probably started when we moved away from clocks with faces to digital clocks. It’s an impressive number and sticks in our memories. I love it every time I see it.
Thanks so much for this Dixie it happens to me all the time – including while I READING THIS!!! I’m sitting in the living room with my husband, he’s watching an NFL game while I surf the web. Pretending to be interested I ask how much time is left in the quarter – 11:11.

I always pay attention to what is on my mind when I see an 11:11.
I LOVE numbers. I’m one of those weird people who watch the numbers on the odometer on my van. All of one, numbers lining up, numbers lining down.
Goofy, I know, but there you go.

I remember reading that Doreen Virtue also said (can’t remember where) that repeating 11’s mean that things are manifesting quickly, so guard your thoughts and try to keep them positive!
And we have 11’s coming up next week: Monday (10-10-11) and Tuesday (10-11-11). Along with a full moon in Aries! Make a wish, everyone! :-))
