Hey, now! This is a much less harsh vision of conflict. While the Two of Wands is not always associated with conflict, it is a Mars in Aries card. I get it heralding choices and polarities, the two sides to the story, you know? But in many renditions of this card, the figure holds the world in his hands. Whatever the situation, it’s totally in hand.
You may choose to push back here, but with consciousness, deliberation and control, not with bite. Realize, feelings are largely a choice, impacted heavily by how we choose to frame an incident. It’s a civil process. It’s purposeful.
I like that word here: purposeful! Make all disagreements (if you have them) have a POINT. Let any action taken be creative and constructive, using the positive qualities associated with the Fire Element.
I always found it annoying when people called problems “opportunities,” because it seemed largely a lot of euphemistic horseshit. Changing the word didn’t change the smell. But that’s kind of the vibe I’m looking for today. What doesn’t work for you highlights what you want to achieve in a way that contentment never can. Use areas of discord either with others or just in general, as the manure which helps grow your flowers. Ha!
Are you involved in a controlled dissent?

“I always found it annoying when people called problems “opportunities,” because it seemed largely a lot of euphemistic horseshit”
HA! That’s awesome
I’m conflicted over whether I’m conflicted or not, at the moment.
i think I’m in a controlled dissent, a couple of them. Like the Cold War, but I will never make the first move to argue, etc.
This made me look up a concept that I was thinking about lately:
“Aikido’s followers learn how to use an assailant’s strength and energy against them. Students are taught to care for the well being of their potential attacker and are trained to disarm, but not seriously wound them.”
Also, the truth will come out eventually. I will continue with integrity on my part. If someone wants to attack me, I think it will turn back on them without me doing anything, or using just a martial arts type deflection.
I’m like: “yeah, you’re crazy, buh-bye…” as I KEEP MOVING ON.
So the 2 of Wands is an Aries card? Well, today Mars entered Aries! (And the moon is in Aries, too).
Yep, Mars in Aries. Apropos, huh? I felt this one today, too, on a FB page I manage, lots of aggressive/snappish energy. I tried to take this forecast into account.
