Rx Queen of Cups: Emotional Alchemy to Calm the Waters

Are you feeling as eclipsed as I am? It’s bordering on ridiculous at this point.

All that to say, this week has been a wild ride, with some flashbacks to emotional baggage that evidently still resides in my brain.

Which makes next week’s forecast strikingly apt.

Next Week in the Cards

Outlook: the reversed Queen of Cups. Advice: Temperance. Deck: our trusty Radiant Rider-Waite mini.

Emotions are definitely a “thing”—and a pretty notable one at that. Expect the chatter out in the wild to often be more reflective of someone else’s emotional state than any objective reality. And there’s a good chance that some of it may tie back to old wounds. After all, the Queen of Cups is Tarot’s emotional whisperer.

Expect feelings to be big, messy, unpredictable, and a bit scattered. Tread carefully in your interactions.

Our advice comes from Temperance, standing firm and upright. Your mission is to take it slow and deliberate. Marry your observations with your existing beliefs. Seek balance and fairness. Consider all angles and take your time. If there was ever a moment for a gentle tap on the brakes, it’s now.

If you’re taking an emotional hit, first off, I’m sorry to hear it! Step back and breathe. There’s no rush, no blaze to put out. Then, give yourself the time and space needed to process. You can and will manage, and you’ll be all the better for it.

And isn’t that what we’re all after? To come out a little better on the other side?

Happy reflecting, my friends.
