I’ve been working hard to clear my head and summon my focus mojo. Sure, I’ve got my reasons. Don’t we all? But knowing why doesn’t magically make it any easier.
That said, I think we’re on the brink of a shift. At least, it feels like that. A little clean-up work as we go. And judging by next week’s cards, maybe some of you will feel it, too.
Next Week in the Cards
Giving the playful Meow Tarot another run this week. Because cats know things.
Both cards came up reversed, but I flipped them for the photo. Mercury Retrograde is my scapegoat for the reversals, frankly. That’s also my excuse for reading the Nine of Pentacles more like the Nine of Cups last week. Do I regret it? Nope. The message still hit the mark and that’s the bottom line, damn it.
Outlook: Ace of Pentacles (Fishes, Rx)
This week, there’s a restless urge for progress—real, tangible, physical progress. People are diving into to-do lists, even if those lists don’t seem to be shrinking much. The energy here says, “Let’s move on this already!” So if you’ve got half-finished projects lurking in the shadows, don’t be surprised when they magically drift up, top of mind. Progress might be slow or even clumsy, but we’ll feel better with some tangible movement. Don’t discard the little achievements, either. Every fish counts.
Advice: King of Swords (Rx)
Our keyword this week is judicious. It’s about balance, moderation, and precision. There could be tendency to overdo. If some is a good thing, it doesn’t mean more is better. Keep your words focus, your plans realistic, and your complaints…well, maybe dial those down a notch. Being critical is easy to overdo, too.
With this King reversed, take your time. Don’t be so rushed to get down to business you accidently discard something essential in your haste. Whether it’s a big idea, a tiny detail, or even someone’s feelings, resist the urge to pitch what might still be important. Basically, don’t be the one who throws the baby out with the bathwater. (Babies don’t dig it and it just makes a mess on the floor.)
What Now?
The Ace of Pentacles reversed represents the general, collective desire for something tangible, a move forward, even if progress feels slow or messy. Meanwhile, the reversed King of Swords reminds us to remain deliberate and thoughtful with whatever we’re doing, avoiding extremes or unnecessary sacrifices.
Together, these cards suggest moving forward but taking it in small, mindful steps. Don’t worry about perfect execution—just make sure you’re not sabotaging your long-term goals in a rush to get there already. Modest, steady and thoughtful yield the best outcomes this week.
Now, for you:
Where are you feeling the urge to inch forward, even if the path looks murky? What’s one small, concrete thing place you can focus without stressing over it?
