Reversed Four of Pentacles and the reversed Magician (here from from Shadowscapes) illustrate a basic energetic principle: when your energy isn’t in balance, neither is your influence over said energy and hence, neither is your personal power.
The Four of Pentacles is generally seen as stable situations, although sometimes fear or greed factors. Inverted, fear may well run the show. Fear shuts down receptivity; it makes a person’s energy small and dense and hard to penetrate. Great fear operates like a cosmic black hole that sucks down whatever matter gets too close.
Having a lot of fear that you cannot do whatever it is you need to do is likely to ensure you cannot. A little more faith, and little more trust would probably be helpful about now. That gives you the maximum bang for your buck, in the power department.
