The Six of Pentacles (Coins) reversed is charity withheld, gifts given with strings, hoarding or two-faced jealousy. It’s backhanded compliments and phony praise. It’s also giving more than you can afford, or coerced giving. In short, whatever is being handed out, it’s not freely and honestly distributed here.
Beware charity that ain’t! If you cannot afford a gift, do not offer it and if a gift feels “off” to you, look for the strings. Something out there is parading around as a present when it’s anything but.
