World Rx and Strength: Showing Up as a Superpower

Feeling that vague dread where everything looks normal but your body is braced for impact? This week’s World Rx and Strength combo offers a simple superpower.

What is it with the vague sense of dread in the air, damn it?

Where everything technically looks “normal,” but your body is already braced for impact? It could be anything, but more likely it’s many things. That unease is no joke.

And the cards tell me I’m not alone in feeling it. Since they have advice, let’s do this.

Coming Up in the Cards

World Rx and Strength: Showing Up as a Superpower Everyday Tarot

Outlook: Completion Reversed (The World)

When the World shows up upside down, we can feel rattled, anxious, unsure of ourselves. As a collective outlook, this is living in “waiting for the other shoe to drop” mode: uncertainty, confusion, and a low-level hum of dread. The anxiety is loud, and half the time we don’t even know exactly why.

But reversed World is not a hard no, it’s a “not yet.” The sense of mastery, the boundaries, the feeling of having it all together are in progress, not inaccessible.

Advice: Courage (Strength)

Of all the non-traditional versions of Strength I’ve worked with, this is one of the most direct: you persist. You work with what you’ve got and grow where you’re planted.

This isn’t a glam, movie-hero brand of strength. It’s the showing up again and again kind of strength, the “I’ll keep trying until I get it” strength, the “fine, I’ll send the email / make the call / have the conversation anyway” strength.

Now for You

Where are you feeling most rattled and unsure right now? Name it, at least to yourself—money, health, relationships, whatever—and ask, “What does staying consistent and unyielding look like today in this one spot?”

Because this is what strength actually looks like in real life. We do the best we can, consistently and persistently, and we don’t stop until we get to where we need to be. This is how we help the World card turn upright again and feel that solid foundation under our feet.

And a solid foundation sounds pretty sweet about now.
