Have you ever avoided making a move because doing so might mean you have to release the fantasy of how it would play out?
I mean, we can call it “getting ready.” But if we’re being honest, is it, really? I know for me, I am hesitant at times to pull the trigger when I fear it won’t work out or when I see something as the only answer I can think of to achieve desired ends.
Something can retain magical-solution-to-everything status in my head if I keep it regulated to the imaginary realm. But when you move it to the real world, it gets a lot messier.
So let’s look at how else we might handle this phenomena.
Coming Up in the Cards
Cards pictured from the lovely Star Tarot, with a cameo photobomb from Thor the Warrior Kitten’s tail. Both these cards appeared inverted but photograph so much better upright, so I flipped them.

Outlook, Page of Pentacles Rx: Obsessing over details won’t give you truth; it will give you a headache! Elements of the message are coming in, but even some actual, hardcore facts cannot be interpreted in isolation of context. It’s fine to be taking notes. Just take them in pencil—and notice if you’re using “gathering info” to stall real engagement instead.
Advice, Three of Wands Rx: Don’t count anything in—or out—yet. You cannot project results from the current indicators. There’s absolutely movement and cues, but it’s not set yet. So stay attentive, be ready to make corrective adjustments as needed. But stop trying to wrap up the ending from half-baked indicators.
This week isn’t about predicting the outcome. It’s about staying in the game long enough to find out—flexible, present, iterating as reality shows up.
Now, for you: Where are you still married to the fantasy script, editing the plan instead of meeting what’s actually unfolding?
