10/20/12: Do what you need to do, Zombie Hunter! | 2 of Swords

This Zombie-hunter has a choice to make.  He keeps his eyes blindfolded, dispassionately weighing out options. As a perk, the expressions of his zombified former friends aren’t going to sway him from doing what he needs to do.

The Two of Swords usually shows us a bit of a standoff. Even in the traditional RWS version, there are emotions at play, but in the background. The Swords are all about rational thinking, after all, so those emotional considerations probably need to be put aside while options are carefully weighed out. My apologies to the Libras in the room. I know y’all struggle enough with this already.

A pros and cons list is an excellent tactic when you’re faced with a Two of Swords decision. Prioritizing, planning, spread-sheeting, or otherwise carefully adding up the figures are all helpful here. While I’m usually a “listen to your heart” kind of gal, when you see this card, it’s a head-over-heart kind of day. If you listen to your heart, you’ll be forever deadlocked in this dilemma.

Take your time, think things through, and then do what you need to do. That’s what gets you through the night safely, zombie hunter!
