“I find hope in the darkest of days, and focus in the brightest. I do not judge the universe.” –Dalai Lama

Hope isn’t generally a gift, magically bestowed all aglitter with fairy dust by the spirit world. It more often is the result of a long, hard fight to conquer obstacles and continue moving forward.
Today’s Tarot forecast is a 2-fer deal, because as much as I love the first card, I wanted more to work with, so pulled a second. We’ve got the Star, or Daughter of the Firmament, associated with Aquarius, and the Nine of Wands or Lord of Great Strength, associated with Mars in Sagittarius.
Keep hope that meaningful, far-reaching change is within your grasp. Hope’s not a gift from the Gods or any such etheral thing. It’s more often payoff from great (Sagittarius) effort (Mars), dedication to a constructive course of action sustained over the long haul.
Yeah, I know you’re tired. Me, too. I think I’ll take a nap, soon as Mercury goes direct. But for now, I still feel good about the hopes I’ve got. I’ve earned them.
How are you doing on the hope front?

The Star was in my reading last night for today. I’m glad to see it again. Yesterday was as horrible as I expected … except that somehow I’m still married. We somehow pulled together instead of apart. We may actually be stronger for it … time will tell on that one.
Thank you for continuing this throughout, Dixie. There’s more than one person who would’ve just said, “To hell with Mercury Retrograde. I’m going to bed. I’ll see y’all when it’s done.” You’ve been a constant source of hope for me this session.
I’m very glad for whatever small ways I’ve been able provide support, Garnet. Much love on your path.
Oooh! Those cards are just beautiful, Dixie.
And yes, I have hope. The path is certainly not what I thought it would be at the moment, but Merc retro has taught me to let go of what I think it ought to look like.
Good morning, everybody!!!
“The path is certainly not what I thought it would be at the moment, but Merc retro has taught me to let go of what I think it ought to look like.”
That’s a powerful lesson for sure, Kim. Glad you have some hope on hand.
It’s the only thing helping me scrape by at the moment!
{{{Caroline}}} You are a very bright and capable young woman. Your hope is based on solid ground, so don’t let go. In the long run, I’m confident it will serve you well.
I would be SO MUCH EASIER if it could be “magically bestowed all aglitter with fairy dust by the spirit world” – but NO, it requires work – DAMNIT!
Of couse I’d feel better because I’d own it by working hard but really can’t we just buy this stuff somewhere? I’m really tired.
I’d be more hopeful if I weren’t so negative!
Pretty cards Dixie & good vibes to all!
Hope in a bottle would be a good thing, CancerMom. You gave me some smiles today. Thanks for that.
I’ll let you know if I find a Hope wholesaler, CancerMom. But from where I sit, I’d expect you to have a few spare bottles laying about. Just stop seeking a specific outcome; the all-purpose “In the highest good for all concerned” varieties are much more powerful, easier to work with, and don’t expire.
It’s goin pretty good Nice to have a little break in the clouds once in awhile :turtle:
Totally feeling the break in the clouds!
:cloudy: :rain: :umbrella: :sun: :rainbow:
I’m so glad for the folks that are feeling a break in the clouds! :sun:
