08/26/12: Rediscovering Dreams | 6 Cups

six-of-cups

“A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams.” –John Barrymore

Harken back, to a simpler time. You know. Back when you had it all figured out. When summers lasted forever and every dream was possible to you, by the sheer fact you could dream it—the only hard part was deciding on which one to chase.

This is the energy of the Six of Cups. Look for the faith, the trust, the straight-up “knowing” that children have about endless possibilities. Where did that simple, pure and beautiful faith go?

Find the seed of innocence you once had and plant it, today. Water it with love and watch some dreams take root. This is how you bloom your life.

You having a Six of Cups day?

  1. Hmm. No, actually, I woke up in the middle of the night with a feeling that I’d taken a bad detour somewhere in my life and that, no matter how hard I keep trying, I’m never going to get back on the right road. It’s been a tough summer.

  2. Yes, tough summer of cleaning up my mess… Planting seeds within the new beginning of the Full Moon/Blue Moon in Virgo…my natal chart moon. Feeling good and taking back my power!

  3. Remembering innoncence fondly as I plan to take my 2nd grader nephew to see a movie this afternoon. He wants to see Paranorman. LOL. Kid after my own heart. Doesn’t hurt that he’s a Virgo.

I love this card I could lie around in that spring grass with the daffodils all day

  4. Wow. You really made me realize how much I’ve lost that. And I’d kind of have to agree with Marly K’s comment.
Also, I think if I comment, I don’t receive notification of answers, is there a reason for that?

    1. Wg, the subscription check box isn’t checked by default. I realize that may be confusing. I did manually subscribe you to this thread and will experiment with turning that box ON by default. I just don’t want to accidentally send people email they don’t want!

  5. It’s been a long, overwhelming year (not necessarily bad, just overwhelming) but today I told someone I was ready to pick up some dreams I’d dropped and resume manifesting them. And I meant it.
