Animals don’t lie. Animals don’t criticize. If animals have moody days, they handle them better than humans do. –Betty White
Angry, sputtering tears. Unexpected, explosive laughter. Mysterious, quick-onset melancholy. Think “moody on steroids” and you’ve got the got the picture of today’s vibe.
Man, it’s been one Hell of a string of reversals of later, huh? Here’s another: Knight of Cups inverted. Knights tend to be instable energy. Cups are often unstable energy. Inverted cards are often unstable energy. So put it together, and you’ve got fast-moving, unstable and unpredictable emotion.
Under such conditions, it behooves to pay extra attention to managing ourselves. The dolphin our knight rides is a clever animal. Use your own cleverness to manage yourself. Write (or draw) things out instead of inflicting passing emotional tides on your fellow humans. Use music to alter your mood or physical activity to burn off chaotic, excess energy. Walk it off! Dance, run, clean the house. Do what you need to do to keep yourself in check.
And if you find yourself on the receiving end of a mood swing? Put some distance in there, both physical and emotional. Don’t take personally what cannot be personal. People are frayed; try not to become one of them.
Are you feeling the tides of mood swings?
