Years ago,  browsing the metaphysical section at a bookstore, I wanted something new. Hovering my hand out over the shelves looking to feel something, a copy of “The Infinite Self: 33 Steps to Reclaiming Your Power” grabbed my attention. My hand started tingling near it, and like crazy when I picked it up; I didn’t bother reading the blurb on the back. There was no way I was walking out of the store without that book. (And yeah, it was the perfect book for right then. I still go back and reread it from time to time. Thanks, Universe!)

Today’s Tarot is the reversed Page of Swords and the reversed Ten of Pentacles. If you break the rules you’ve agreed upon, there will be disruption at home. Stay true to your word. If you find that difficult, strive to be more selective on the words you use. The impact does ripple out and impact your tribe, you know?

In the Infinite Self, step 12 is “Your Word is law.” How many of us could say that honestly, we live our lives in such a way our word is law? The basic idea here is that words carry energy. If you just shoot them about, saying you’re going to do this or that and not following through, it disperses your energy and effectively, piddles away your power.

When what you think, say and do are all consistent, your focus is singular, aligned. More effective. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Life flows smoother than way. And remember, words hold power. With those closest to you, even more so. Invest that power wisely, and it will pay a handsome return.
