I have tendency to get overwhelmed, when I start thinking of all the things I feel the need to learn about. There’s so much, the quest is never-ending! Even as much as I love all things metaphysical, the sheer volume of disciplines, schools of thought, and potentially useful information can be enough to make a seeker’s eyes go all glassy. It lends itself to procrastination.
Today’s Tarot forecast is the reversed Nine of Pentacles or Lord of Material Gain, associated with Venus in Virgo. Think comfort (Venus) and material blessings (Venus) as a result of using the mind (Virgo). The falcon represents overcoming challenges systematically. Often, this card points to success via education or applied study. Inverted, could we be skipping out on our lessons, perhaps?
Okay, Tarot. Got it. Stop procrastination and just do the study. This may be a good time to take some of my favorite advice—using joy as a compass. What juices you up? What excites you, inspires you, and ignites your passion? Because that’s an excellent place to start.
I’ve never found education to be wasted. So instead of complaining about how I don’t have time to learn everything I want to, I’ll just spend that time learning something. Whatever something is speaking to me at the time…

:cat: HOW DID YOU KNOW!!!! Jiminy Cricket!! I have just skipped a couple days of studying and am skipping today! As if I didn’t feel guilty enough already!!! LOL
There is so much to absorb. I was looking on line yesterday of even more things I wanted to immerse myself in and it is overload! Today tho I am babysitting my beautiful great nephew and I will be looking at the world anew with excitement and wonder and that just heals my soul. Always good to re-learn some things too. And maybe THAT is what I need to learn to do more of!!! Emergency babysitting does have it’s finer benefits.

I’ve really been wanting to study the astrological associations cards have, like this one being Venus in Virgo. I think I’ll get on that today. Since this is a pentacle, maybe I’ll start with that suit first.
