A reader told me recently, pay special attention the Queen of Wands. While I’m quite certain she wasn’t thinking Zombie Tarot at the time, the point is still stands.
The Queen of Wands is strong, stubborn, and direct. As Water in Fire, her emotional makeup (Water) is passionate and fierce (Fire). She’s a take-no-prisoners kind of gal.
While she’s ordinarily good-natured, she can also be a touch on the hard-headed side. (I’m being nice here.) Sometimes, that’s a problem. Other times, it’s saving grace. It doesn’t matter much which it is, though, as it’s definitely her nature. Might as well try to change a Leopard’s spots as change this Queen’s focus once she’s set.
Yes, she’ll always lend a hand—even if she has to rip it off a Zombie to do it! So be clear when you engage her energy, because she always means business and isn’t prone to take “no” for an answer.
As advice, she would have us remain strong, focused, determined and brave. She lets us know, we WILL win, we DO win, largely through the focused energy we generate via strength of will. I’d always suggest being on her side if you can help it.
Do you see the Queen of Wands at work in your life?

Every time I look in the mirror!!! Man, there is a lot going on here, but it all is playing out astrologically and in your daily Tarot. Whew! I’m gonna have to update you soon, and get a reading when I have the money because things are moving so damned fast my head is spinning!!!!
Kris, you are a rock! I’d love to hear your update when you’re at a place, and of course, you know where to find me. Go, sister, go!!!
That’s so funny because I identify a lot with the Queen of Wands but I never think about the aspect of being able to win (in my case). Obviously, I have to start believing that I too can win and prevail. In fact, now that I think about it, it’s PRECISELY because I lose touch with my inner Queen of Wands that I lose.
You see, in many ways I’ve associated her with being disliked. She is certainly a very intense, opinionated and headstrong energy, so my family discouraged me from displaying that passion. Well, that’s just who I am! I have a Grand Fire Trine, for God’s sake! Hating my passion means hating myself. So I have always given up so that I could be liked and I can tell you, I have lost A LOT because of this: money, years, opportunities, etc. Recently I’ve gotten sick and tired of getting the fuzzy end of the lollypop because, simply put, I am continually being confronted with issues of survival. If I keep being “the nice girl”, I am going to end up on the streets. It’s that simple. So I am making friends with being disliked for my passion and stubbornness. No, I can’t give a client a break because they’re having a hard time. I need to get paid. (These are always the clients who take up tons of my time, are disrespectful, and then argue with me when I invoice them.)
Mm. Anyway, that’s an insight I keep having this year. After all, if they dislike my essential qualities, then they never really liked me in the first place.
Okay, I wasn’t going to post this quite yet, but I felt compelled after reading this comment.
