10/01/13: Inviting the Song of Truth / Queen of Wands

Power Lodge Pipes

Okay, I’m as non-traditional-deck-friendly as the next pink-haired Tarot chick. But “Power Lodge of the Pipes?” Eh, we’re getting pretty damn far off the beaten path, man… Maybe I’d do better with it if I had the book instead of just the deck. Oh well. For those of us uninitiated into the Lodge, we’re talking “Queen of Wands.”

Here’s what I want to say, though: so much, we doubt ourselves. We question, we wonder if we’re good enough, smart enough, up to the tasks life has in store. Everybody else seems to “get it” with ease! Why do we have such struggles? What is wrong with us?!?

Here’s a little secret from you friendly neighborhood reader: everybody struggles. I don’t care how perfect a life looks from the outside! People all have the same troubles, the same fears, and the same challenges, albeit presenting in different outfits. They try to keep the freak-outs private exactly the same way you and I do. Who wants to break into a chorus of sobs on stage?

When you’re feeling lost and alone, pull back within yourself. Listen only to those words that ring true, like music to your ears! I’m not saying look for yes-people to populate your world. That’s beyond worthless, it’s dangerous.

The musical words I’m talking about are those said with love, with intention of healing. Whether you want to hear the message or not, words spoken in love, intended to be of truth and service, have a much different impact than words lacking these qualities. They move along a higher frequency and reach your heart in a different way than the bullshit (including bullshit that comes out of one’s own mouth). Songs of truth and love just feel different.

Get quiet, just like our lodge mistress is doing! Step back from you worries, step back from your life and get quiet. Invite wisdom and healing and everything else you need, even if you don’t know exactly what it is that you need. Then wait, staying centered within your own heart.

What you most need, your “Song of Truth,” will find you.

Do you know what I’m talking about here? (Or maybe you vote “Crazy!”)

  1. This is very cool. I had been awake during the EARLY morning hours looking for insight and guidance. And it helped. We had a really good outcome in court.

  2. I have goosebumps! I’ve had this deck for YEARS (snatched from my Mother when I was in my early teens ) and this is the first time I’ve used them.. I don’t have the book, so I searched meanings.. Funny things is- I also have pink hair! This came up next to “The World: Dancer” card, and the fact you smoke of music and song, as well as we as making sure to come from a place of love and being grounded is HIGHLY significant. I mean, WOW, WOW, WOW.. And as I was writing this- it was 4:44. ☺️ Thank you so, so much!
