10/15/11: Time Out | Rev. Queen of Coins, Four of Cups

Today’s Tarot forecast is the inverted Queen of Pentacles (Water in Earth) and the Four of Cups (Moon in Cancer).  Take some time away from all the people you care for, all the work you do. You don’t have to do it all, by yourself, all the time. Take a break for dreaming. Mark it on your calendar, if need be!

It’s also a good idea to acknowledge what you have currently as well as what’s on offer, on every level. It’s easy enough to take for granted people and situations that sustain us, always seeking the missing pieces without acknowledging what’s already there. Withdraw, meditate, and be still for a minute or two now. All is stable (the promise of Tarot Fours), so it’s the perfect time to take a time out. Back off a bit, take time out to let the full picture sink in, and you’ll be prepared to make the most of what you’ve got coming.

  1. I have a time-out coming today ~ a weekend at a friend’s lake house. Water is something I’ve been missing and it will do me a world of good. There will be four couples, but for me that’s a time-out from my usual routine of just sticking around the house. We’re boarding the puppy, have someone lined up to take care of the mother-in-law, and are off on a happy journey. And boy do we need it! Have a lovely weekend, Dixie.
