Who else is ready for this Mercury direct action? Man. This particular retrograde hit me (and others, I know) like a freakin’ ton of bricks. I felt the astro-winds shift yesterday when suddenly, I am not waking up to the same irritation and the stuff I was trying to accomplish actually started coming together.
Basically, the long-term projects I was working on just were not going ANYWHERE. It was fight, fight, fight for even an inch of progress if that.
And to top it off, I was waking up every morning having sometimes agitated discussions about the past–with people I don’t really talk to in the present. Let’s resolve old issues with people I’m not on great terms with! Wheeeeeeee! How’s that for fun?
I mean, I am complaining obviously, but it was a relatively gentle way to work though what was on my mind. (Translation: Friends, you don’t need to check up on me. I’m good. Really good.)
It was, in fact, ultimately quite helpful to ride through the process. I addressed what I needed to address, leaving me now ready to move ahead. It would have been magnitudes more messy if other people had been directly involved. Frankly, I’m glad I was able to do this on my own, no casualties. Scorpio Mars can say things in the heat of the moment that never go away, if they don’t do their own work first. Let any messiness get cleaned up in my head, first.
All of last week, I was getting a lot of really useful info by stepping back and noticing those emotional tides–especially first thing in the morning, when I wasn’t distracted by the rest of the world. And while I suspect the flashback factor is going to fade with Mercury going direct, there will still be a lot of useful info to be gleaned by quietly observing emotions in the coming week.
Just you watch…or rather, “just you feel.”

Hi, this is Dixie from a Fool’s Journey here with this week’s Tarot forecast.
For the Outlook. I pulled the Page of Cups and for advice, we got the King of Wands reversed.
So I am expecting an emotional week. You will also get your information or a lot of information, i.e. relevant information via emotional content. Listen to the feelings before you listen to words. Pay attention to your emotional reaction more than you do basic facts or informational content.
Now, I’m not saying that you don’t want to pay attention to facts or that facts are irrelevant, but consider the feelings or the emotional pulls that you get sort of like the scent that you follow that will take you to your facts.
Because what somebody says or the basic idea, the basic presentation may be off, but the emotional reaction that you get will give you more information. It’ll be ultimately a lot more helpful. Now, in terms of advice, a reverse King of Wands, I’m going to tell you, don’t go in with guns blazing on anything.
King of Wands is a doer and he’s impatient. So getting him reversed is advice. I’m gonna, I’m going to say plan your steps before you execute him, OK? Take your time. It’s time for structure, framework and planning until you get the kinks worked out OK?
