You ever had something on your mind, and every time you think about it, you reach a different conclusion? Worse, maybe you feel like you need to take different action based on that ever-shifting conclusion.
Bonus points if it feels important and you’re emotional about it. Oy!
I’ve been in that space recently, and it was exhausting! I’m doing better now, but I had to work at it. I had to keep shifting around my perspective until I found one that fit and I’m sticking with that.
I am thinking there might be a little of that sort of patience required next week. But not to worry because as usual, the cards have a little advice for us.
Next Week in the Cards
Outlook is reversed Knight of Swords–not too surprising for Mercury retrograde period. Advice is the reversed Queen of Swords, with clarification coming from the reversed Three of Cups. Deck, of course, is the Radiant Rider Waite mini.
Missing info, mixed signals and of mixed minds–all this could be “a thing” in the coming week.
I find with this Knight reversed, I often change my mind several times about what something means. Interpretations tend to flux, with mood, new details, or outside input leading to sometimes dramatic changes in perspective. It’s probably going to be kind of a shifty week!
So in terms of advice, don’t eliminate options prematurely. Measure but don’t cut yet, more or less. That Queen of Swords reversed can be critical, so just know that’s how you’re seeing things right now. Doesn’t mean you’re right. (Doesn’t mean you’re wrong either, but you may be emphasizing a different aspect of the situation that you will ultimately settle into for a perspective that works for you).
Also? Respect the folks that love and support you, always and absolutely, but realize you’re gonna have to make that final call yourself. You can certainly talk to friends, but sometimes, letting things percolate and process will do a lot more good than well-meaning advice from others who want to help you fix things…NOW.
See, you most likely won’t be able to “fix things now.” Step back from the questions and agitation (if you’ve got some of that). Find ways to feel less bothered and seek a bit of distance, distraction and perspective. It can be tricky sometimes, but it’s way worth the trouble.
I do feel the need to point out these are not bad cards or super harsh energies necessarily. But they aren’t free-flowing and some of us are tired! So pace yourself, friends, and use all the due diligence about self-care that I’m always harping on.
And hang in there! Resolutions are coming.
Much love. ~Dix
