Everyday Tarot 07/27/11: Cutting Losses

tarot-forecastI’m still in my “cut to the chase” phase, so we’ll keep this Tarot forecast short but (we hope) relevant. I know some are getting whomped out there. If you’re not, support those that are!

Today’s Tarot forecast is another 3-card spread, because the Transparent Tarot provides  exceptional imagery this way—the Five of Pentacles, the High Priestess and the King of Swords.

Sadness hangs—what’s not lingers in the air; every breathe is like sucking in smoke after a fire. It burns. The ache is for what we’ve had and lost, even if it were but sweet illusion.

It’s time to let the deeper story unfold, naturally. You cannot force here—only receive whatever surfaces.  Don’t worry, that you don’t understand yet. Allowing the truth to emerge completely will bring understanding. With understanding, informed and fair decisions about how to proceed become evident. Surgery hurts, but you’re healthier once you heal, unimpeded by disease. You’ll know consciously what you’ve sensed already—which parts of your world are serving and which parts have been outgrown.

Are you cutting losses?

  1. There are a lot of people suffering out there. It is almost visibly written on their faces. I went to the grocery store yesterday and a woman working in the deli was trying very hard to be nice, but I could tell she was not doing well. Smiling, but her eyes were saying something different. Her voice was soft but it echoed with this mournfulness. When she handed me what I needed over the counter, I took it but also paused and touched her hand for a moment. Probably would have creeped me out if someone did that. But, when I did, I told her “it’s not forever. hang in there, it will pass” She started crying. I didn’t mean to upset her. I just felt like it needed to be said.

Be good to yourself. Be good to others. This isn’t forever.

And the truth unfolding all on it’s own without the need to force it..oh yeah..I see that happening BIG time

Much love Dixie, I hope you have a very blessed day

  2. I think the cut to the chase method is sometimes what it takes. The meaning can get lost in the effort to explain it –when it’s right there–wham! in your face. Hope you don’t mind me chiming in–I like it here!

  3. Yes, things are UNFOLDING. I remember when my life used to be so boring, for years and years there was nothing like this. But I guess we’re ready to grow spiritually…

I just want to say thanks to eveyone who sent good stuff for my mom. I thought she wouldn’t be with us soon, and now she has bounced back almost completely. I’m a little weary from the saga, but feeling amazed and lots of gratitude.

Sending love and thanks to everyone here… and especially to one ANGEL who has made a huge difference, and she may never know how much it provided some extra peace to my family.

    And Dixie… lovelovelovelovelove.

The icons aren’t popping up, but I would fill this with hearts!

    Sofie

  4. I was trying to let things unfold naturally, but Sunday I finally got the scissors out and just cut to the chase myself. Sometimes waiting for the boil to pop just doesn’t happen on it’s own and YOU HAVE TO lance it yourself.
