I always want to do better, more, higher, you know? I’m really good at looking for areas to improve upon and take the quest to become a better person very seriously. Nothing wrong with that.

Still, it’s good to acknowledge progress and accept well-deserved kudos at the same time.

Today’s Tarot Forecast is the Six of Torches (Wands) or Lord of Victory, associated with Jupiter in Leo. Man. Can you imagine a better illustration for Jupiter in Leo than this fellow standing in the spotlight to accept his award? I love this version!

And yeah, the Six of Wands often does arrive to hail a job well done. Enjoy it! Just remember, Tarot sixes are cooperative efforts. So even though the backup crew isn’t in the spotlight, it’s a wise winner who acknowledges their supporting cast. ‘Nuff said.

The Six of Torches serves as a reminder—you’ve performed (Leo) on a grand scale (Jupiter). Enjoy the knowledge. Use this opportunity to send some love to those that support your endeavors, and take a well-deserved bow. Accolades may well be deserved. This is the spot where you stand back and admire your work.

Are you pleased with your performance of late?

  1. And you know, those “rewards” are always sweeter if you know that your victory also glorifies others and the actions you took to get there may help them also find their way.

  2. This card is just perfect. I’ve been called by two of my sisters for help this morning, based on expertise I didn’t realize I’d demonstrated and hadn’t logged for myself deep inside. I’m training a lady this week which puts an incredible burden on my time just as my normal responsibilities have picked up, but am not afraid. I’m actually exhilarated since her presence is more outside acknowledgement that I’ve successfully busted my ass. I like this card.

  3. Interesting, that I tend to take the “not so cheery” stuff right to heart, and this one I have trouble with. Gotta work on that.
But yes, I am pleased. Gol, it’s been a rough 8 weeks or so. And I’m still upright.
In part of acknowledging the supportive cast – thank you everybody for your kind words when I’ve had a rough day!!! I appreciate you all more than words can say.

    1. Kim, I am so glad you’ve made such progress over the last several weeks. I’ve gotten the sense it’s been grueling work, but that you’ve stuck with it like a trooper. Good for you!I hope you celebrate your victories, as well. They sure count, man. :rose:

  4. Dixie, I love that award cup!!! Maybe I do need to give that to myself for haning in. I always tell my kid “nevergiveupnevergiveupnevergiveup…” since he tended to, but I need to say it to myself.

I think I may borrow it for his friend who just won 6 first place trophies in a piano competition this weekend. So perfect!

    1. Consider yourself awarded, Sophie!

And what an impressive accomplishment, for your son’s friend! I’ve very impressed. Hope he’s proud and feeling that recongition, too.

  5. Oh, Sophie….Thank you! Your hugs put a huge smile on my face, and I send you hugs right back. (With howls and singing from the doggers.) :dog:

And Dixie, thanks to you too. I’m so grateful for you and your site every day – you’ve given me things to think about, and many times, something to hang onto. You are right – it’s been a slog. But I think I’m coming out of it – thank goodness!
Now – it’s not my birthday, but let’s have cake.
    :cake:
