09/06/11: Spiritual GPS Working? | Page of Cups, The Fool

“The intuition of free will gives us the truth.” –Corliss Lamont

I worry—sometimes, a lot, over the decisions I make about my work, my family, my life. You know? We can make things SO much harder than they need to be…point taken, Tarot.

tarot-forecast

Today’s Tarot forecast is a two-card draw from the Osho Zen deck. “Going with the Flow” is the Ace of Cups, associated with the Water element, and the Fool or Sprit of the Aether, associated with Uranus. Here is where the emotional (Water) is made real (Earth), leading to shocking changes (Uranus).

Don’t demand to know all, see each twist and turn in the road before ever setting upon the path. That approach is inherently limiting, coming more from fear than faith, gravitating toward outcomes that vibrate along the same frequencies. Most journeys, you’ll only be able to see a bit ahead of you. Guidance pops up on a just-in-time basis as you move forward. Often, the greatest blessing you could ever have are not those you could have foreseen. They’re surprises (Uranus)! Instead, look to your heart, the feelings in your gut, your sense of passion—what swells your heart with love and happiness? What topics make you shine with enthusiasm and excitement? THIS is where you want to put your energy.

Think of emotional reactions as a kind of Spiritual GPS. This is one of the biggest ways your intuition talks to you. So if you feel crummy, you are likely veering off-course. If you feel a sense of peace and calm, even knowing you have miles to travel, then you’re probably still on course. If you’re willing to risk moving without a fully plotted map, trusting your internal guidance system of Joy and love, you’ll walk into a grand adventure, the likes of which you could never have accessed otherwise. But to benefit, you have to listen to the guidance.Synchronicity is gifted only to those willing to take the Foolish risks—the leap of Faith is a shortcut.

  1. You have no idea how much I needed this reading today. I’m about to take the shortcut, the leap of faith and my emotions have been roller-coastering for a couple weeks now.
I like to have things all planned out, and that’s just not possible. And, not ideal after all. This is exactly the right advice at exactly the right time. Synchronicity indeed.

  2. Once I acutally turn the darn thing on I’m sure I’ll be ok! I wish I listened to myself more than I do and I wish I was the type of person that “goes with the flow” – NOT me.

You once told me “I don’t need to be so focused on which “road” someone uses just as long a s they get to THEIR destination safely”.

Wise words my pink haired friend!

  3. Okay, I’ve had it pointed out to me this card is NOT the page of Cups, it’s actually the Ace of Cups in this deck. Sorry! Reading still holds, though.

  4. Finally was able to check in and see today’s cards, and it made me smile! I was just asking Spirit last night for at least ONE little clue on which direction to go in. Just one little “something” that would make me say: “Ah-hah! It’s this way!”

And at the same time, I could hear Spirit saying back to me: but that’s not how it works. And you know that. You’ll see if it’s right when you start moving.

And here’s that message all over again! Yeah, I guess I needed to hear it again. (Hey! I just realized – that’s confirmation! )
