“The art of love is largely the art of persistence.” –Albert Ellis

Today’s Tarot is the perfectly dressed Five of Swords (Venus in Aquarius).  You’ve been battling to get this dress put together, and it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. But it’s come together and the remaining loose threads are being snipped.

And you know what? It’s beautiful. Just exactly as it should be.

Don’t kick yourself, for how long it’s taken or how hard you had to fight in order to SEE, to get where you are now. It doesn’t matter if it took 10 seconds or 10 days or 10 decades.  Don’t you see? That doesn’t mean you’ve failed anything. The only way to fail is to give up. But you’re still here.

You are in the perfect place at the perfect time, doing the perfect thing for the whatever ways you need to learn and grow. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be here. Keep snipping threads where you see them, but in the meantime, be grateful you’re finding them to snip.

It may have been a lot of work. But the work shows. The more joy you take in it, the more it’s turned up. How cool is that?!

Where do you see the Five of Swords?

  1. This is something that I keep seeing – such as in a book I ended up buying last September, when I found it on the shelves again, when Borders went out of business. It hasn’t felt right to me, though. I wish that it did.

    Thanks.
