Firmly Rooted in YOU: Weekly Tarot, July 25 – 31

So, I just realized I didn’t finish and publish next week’s Tarot. AND I’m kind of shocked I didn’t realize it until today. ‘Cause, it’s Wednesday! But since I’ve written most of it and all, I’m gonna put it out there anywho…

Hope your week is going well, with or without Tarot. ♥

As I look over this week as a whole, it strikes me how important remaining grounded and centered is. Like there is a whole lot of noise, in the background. Noise you don’t want to think about. Noise that doesn’t feel good to soak in. Noise that is potentially jarring, disruptive or yucky. But how much you tune in to the noise really dictates the quality of your experience.

So what do you do? You want to tune that noise out. Not try to outshout it (which just adds to the noise pollution).  You can only do this if you’re taking good care of yourself and breathing. The more calm, centered energy you can bring to the table, the easier your ride is and the more you’re part of the solution at the same time.

Stay rooted in who you are and what you want to be about. Nothing else matters and it helps the world as a whole when you add your good mojo into the collective pool.

Monday, Five of Pentacles: There is a feeling of lack, “not enoughness” out in the air. You don’t have to join in, you know. Look at what you DO have, what is going well, all the places you currently get support. It’s not your job to crack this nut for anybody else–as if you could, anyway. But if  you’re around a lot of this vibe, look compassionately and hold everyone else in a knowing they can improve how they feel themselves. Your only job is to be a good (and kind) example.

Tuesday, Knight of Cups: Realizing there is a good chance the day will be emotional, offer yourself an emotional setpoint to start with. As you get up or begin a new section of your daily activities, decide in advance you’d like to feel good and spend a minute generating a good feeling by thinking stuff that it makes you happy to think about. Hold yourself in this place for a bit and allow it to build momentum and then bam! You’re emotionally inoculated. How’s that for a prescription?

Wednesday, Seven of Pentacles: Admire your progress. Take note of it, because that amplifies it.

Thursday, Ace of Pentacles: A good day to do something with your hands, or go outside. Physical activity that feels good. Good food or comfortable couches also work, though. The point is, be present in and enjoy the feeling of your body.

Friday, The Hierophant rx: Don’t look to established wisdom to decide for you. Do a gut check and ask yourself, “What feels the best? What is really ‘me?'”

Saturday, The Tower rx: What happens is not as serious as it may have first appeared. Anything that appears to break down now is exposing information that was needed and is useful. Everything is really okay, so relax and know it’s working out.

Sunday, King of Cups rx: It would be easy to take one’s mood out on another. There is only one, sure-fire way to avoid trouble here. Make sure your mood is a good one, before you attempt to socialize.

Overview/Advice, Three of Pentacles: Plan for everything to work out. Expect that everything will be alright (because it will) without demanding the foreknowledge of HOW it will be alright. Don’t try to orchestrata how others should contribute or participate in the process. They will bring their own moves to the mix. But as you put yourself into that good-feeling place, you start to draw the right mix of people and circumstances to create with you.

Affirmation: I see myself enjoying absolute, continuing abundance. This one is hard to reach if you’re not feeling that way. But you can find non-monetary forms of abundance to start generating the FEELING of more abundance. You can look at a garden and appreciate the vegetables or diversity of flowers. You can appreciate the abundance of art or food or music or whatever it is that you enjoy. Those feelings are accessible to everyone who is not focusing on what they don’t have. And by doing this, you start aligning your energy with what you do want. That’s the only way to get it.

Much love.
