One of the most satisfying aspects of working with my Tarot peeps is talking to the same people over an extended period of time. You get to know folks, see them make changes, resolve questions, shift and a lot of the time, you get to see how it works out. I love that! It’s immensely gratifying to see people grow, and sometimes be of service to them in the process. Today’s Tarot made me think of this.
My desktop is getting virus scans and the cards I’ve drawn ahead for the Everyday Tarot aren’t available. So I said, “Okay. The first single card image I find on my laptop, I’m considering today’s draw. We got the Eight of Wands (Torches) from the quirky Zodiac Tarot.
I’m calling it a non-traditional shuffle. Ha!
Generally, the Eight of Wands is all about unfinished business—situations with fast-paced action, soon to be resolved. This version, focusing solely on the astrological association of Mercury in Sagittarius, suggests thinking about travel. Big movement!
I like the mix implied here—sure, the future is in motion, fast, and certainly unpredictable. But you know, it’s kind of exciting, from this window looking out into that great big sky, waiting to see where it’s all going to land. That’s the fun, the adventure! Dreaming where you want to go. Seeing the movement, the progress, appreciating the trip, you know? Imagining what wonderful things it may bring…
Are you waiting for a resolution? How do you feel about it?

I’m working on my own resolution and it’s coming along nicely thank you very much.
The card shows my inner child excited to see the plane take off, I know that’s me because I LOVE her hair color!! hehe
I LOVE being one of your tarot peeps! ((((DIXIE))))

(((CancerMom))) You are the awesome!
I have been worried because I sent my resume’ in to Continental Airlines. I used to be a flight attendant for 10 years and I am ready to get back in the sky. I know it can take a while before you get a response, but I sent it in Sept. This card is making me feel much better about it and think I need to really keep my eyes peeled on my email and ears on my voicemail!
Thx!
Best of luck, Krysten!
Thank you! :airplane:
Hi Dixie! You read for my sis about her career 6 weeks ago. Your reading said the number six (weeks, months, etc.) and lo and behold, she received an offer letter for a job yesterday. Right on target, as usual! Thanks for helping her out! Much love!
Awesome! I actually remember that–I lose info from readings often, but I don’t get numbers that frequently. Delighted to hear it. Wish her well from me if you get a chance.
Dixie, Thanks for being on the ride with us!
Thank you, leisha.
That image rocks. I need to get this deck. Hi, Dixie
Hey Caroline! I love the Sun from this deck, it’s the baby pictured on the box. My all time favorite Sun card… :sun:
We used to live near Heathrow Airport, and would visit just to watch the planes take off.
I’m not sure about resolution – in one or two ways, it’s happened, but not to my liking. At the point, if something did happen to my liking, then it would no longer interest me – I was pushed too far, and put through all of that, and for what? I don’t know. Truly letting go, and feeling good would feel wonderful. I used to be so much better at it, but now I feel like I’m stuck in a revolving door.
