Eclipse me, Baby! Weekly Tarot Forecast, Sept 7 – 13

My little kitten, Thor, is OH SO HELPFUL not only with Tarot, but everything I freakin’ do…you know. Like walk and stuff.

On my radar: big shifts and life changes and transitions and oh-my-God-I-didn’t-even-get-a-chance-to-transition type changes. Serious and significant life events. Can you say “Eclipse?!” ‘Cause man, this energy is well out there and it’s feeling heavy duty.

The New Moon in Virgo September 13th–Sunday–is a solar eclipse at 20 degrees 10 minutes Virgo. If you have any intentions, especially of the practical and helpful Virgo-ish variety, get your pen and paper handy. Because the full moon in Aries that follows is a lunar eclipse as well, so it says “launching pad” to this armchair astrologer for whatever you set in motion now.

Be aware, however, that you may not be able to drive your own car directly here, because eclipses have a way of taking on a life of their own. Not much point in fighting what you get, as if you could. Disclaimer: You may want to read up from real astrologers !

weekly tarot forecast sept 6 -13 2015

These Eights kind of jumped out at me. I am suspecting towards the end of the week, there is potential for seeing how an emotional attachment (hangup, story? I dunno) but an emotional SOMETHING that’s under the surface impacts you. Are you married to your story? And does that cost you? Potential for escaping that union, although I suspect the divorce process is raw. But then again, what divorce isn’t? This week says Eclipse all over it.

[bctt tweet=”If you’re not struggling, help someone who is. #quotes #eclipse #virgo”]

Monday – Three of Pentacles: Plan ahead! Make your lists and check them twice. (If you’re not feeling the whole Mercury retrograde shadow period yet, well, good on you! I barely have to note Mercury Rx anymore because I usually get an energetic heads up. This one started early so be aware, it might an especially erratic retrograde. Sorry! September 17 – October 9th.) Happy Labor Day to my people from the States. This is a good energy for groups, too. So if you’re hanging out with friends, family or colleagues today, pay attention to the group conversation. At the very least, I’d expect some insight to be on tap, by reaching a just a little beyond the surface of the spoken words.

Tuesday – Queen of Wands: Charge! Not the credit card kind, but the be-on-top-of-your-business kind. Focus, focus, focus and a sprinkle of hustle gets the job done. Back to work day if you had an extra day off, but it looks to be productive at least. Try to find joy in what you’re doing and keep your mood as sunny as you can. It really does make a difference. Do what you do with optimism. Bonus: Thor the Tarot kitten helper approves of this message.

Wednesday – Eight of Cups: Desire to run away from home? Sort of. This is more like a desire to leave emotional baggage in your rear view mirror. Be aware that you have that ability. But it doesn’t magically solve “everything.” It does, however, signal a beginning for improving your life.

Thursday – Eight of Swords: Did you leave behind some emotional garbage yesterday? Because today, there is a snapshot in front of you, showing exactly how you’re holding yourself back. You can look at it head on or try to breeze right by it. Your call.

Friday – Seven of Swords: What’s going on under the radar? What’s right under your very nose? This could be self or other. I’m inclined, though, to see it as an extension of Wednesday and Thursday’s energy, another layer peeling off the onion of self-denial.

Saturday – Three of Cups: Great night to socialize, if you’re able. If not, do look for a way to connect with your “tribe” somehow. Make a call, hop online, write a letter–I don’t care. Just celebrate the feelings of belonging.

Sunday – Queen of Pentacles: Who takes care of Mama? Remember, if you support other people and are a caretaker, you perform most efficiently if you also care for yourself. People depend on you! Rest, good food and whatever self-care routines you are into, great idea for the day.

Overview/Advice – Knight of Pentacles: Stay on track with the physical details, logical weight of evidence and just keeping your lists in order this week. The knight is a bit of a literalist, but he is great with details and follow through, so that’s a good aim to shoot for here.

Affirmation: Orange/Nurture Yourself: Orange is the color of the Sacral Chakra, root of our emotions and what we enjoy. Indulgence can be a healthy activity if approached properly. What feeds your spirit? What feeds your body? What feeds your mind? What feeds your emotional body? Do some of that!

Big hugs and love to everybody out there who is struggling.

How y’all managing out there?
