One recurring comment I hear from my Tarot people after readings is, “I feel no judgement coming from you.”
I was thinking about that this morning and I realized, through all the years I’ve been doing this work with a goal of being as clear a channel as I’m able? I’ve never felt a sense of disapproval from Spirit. Never. I’ve felt, go this way and that way. Guidance is there for sure! But not, approval vs. disapproval.
Spirit never counts you as unworthy of having the essence of what you want, although to be frank it will go a lot smoother if you don’t try to dictate every little detail of what route it comes, arrival time and what outfit the desire is wearing. Instead, the essence of it, the underlying feeling state, lines up for you when you’re energetically ready to receive it. (Which, readiness comes in the form of not arguing against it, using your emotions to guide you in feeling better to help nudge you towards paths that lead you there.)
One of the biggest misunderstandings I see is people wanting to know, “What does Source/Spirit/the Universe wants me to do?” I’ve never had the impression there is some mysterious checklist of life to-do’s (that you must accurately guess) to make you a worthy person living a worthy life, and other things you should or should not do that would make you an unworthy person living an unworthy life. It’s more either plugged in or a clogged connection, you know? If you’re kind and loving and happy, you’re plugged in. If you’re unkind or unloving or unhappy, your connection is clogged. It’s a continuum of connection to Source.
Every Spirit I’ve ever encountered through whatever filter used to communicate to me, there is only one overriding tone without exception–love. It’s never anything short of complete and unconditional love, no matter what life someone is living or what life someone wants to live.

See, it’s not a matter of “what the Universe wants you to do” or what God wants you to do, however you frame Source energy. It’s not Source’s job to make up your mind for you! As individual beings, we have very clear preferences of what we want. Spirit can yield the path in magical, miraculous-seeming ways. But that happens not because this is what Spirit has parentally determined what is best for you. Spirit indeed guides us, but it’s towards the truth of whom we’ve decided to become.
That’s what I was reminded of, looking at the week ahead. It’s your job to decide what you want.

Overall, the coming week looks pretty upbeat, provided you’d rather be happy than right. If you can stay in your own lane and not worry so much about what anybody else is doing, you can have a pleasant ride. In other words, don’t micromanage life! Just manage the micro, and let the Universe work out the big stuff, okay?
Monday, Knight of Pentacles: Knock through details one at a time. Don’t bother looking at the forest or even wondering how many trees are in it. Just focus on the tree right in front of you, until you’re done with that. Methodical attention that’s fully focused one one thing at a time yields the greatest return.
Tuesday, The Chariot: Keep focused. Where you’ve come from doesn’t matter. Where you’re at doesn’t matter. How you’ll get there doesn’t matter. The Chariot calls us to reorient on how we want to feel, over and over again, to lead the way. It’s a Cancer card for God’s sakes! Cancer is ruled by the moon, which speaks to our emotions. How you feel matters and here? How you feel very directly drives how successful you are.
Wednesday, Page of Swords rx: No need to knitpick. No need to sign the dotted line just yet. Give things a minute to clarify and make sure, whatever you’re doing, you’re doing it from a place that feels good at the time. That always is the most effective action.
Thursday, The Empress: Lush creativity. Today can yield many beautiful things, if you nurture their growth be kindness, love and joy. You included. Enjoy it! Revel in the physical, creative and replenishing pleasures of the day.
Friday, Six of Pentacles: Be generous. In order to be generous with others, first come from a place of being generous with yourself. Give to yourself first–this allows you to be in a place where you have an abundance of which to share.
Saturday, Two of Wands rx: Less pushing. More allowing. Less rock, more water. Less digging in. More yielding with flexibility. Look for the path of least resistance and take it!
Sunday, The Moon: A good day for dreaming and stories and if you like? A little magic, too. Don’t get hung up on hard-core, literal reality. ‘Reality” is murky, not super clear in this energy. But the feeling tone will not and cannot lie. So instead of trying to ferret out literal truth, look through metaphor glasses today–everything you note, ask yourself, “What is this like?” instead. And you’ll see truth reflected everywhere.
Overview/Advice, Nine of Pentacles: This is largely a week for clarifying and refining the lessons you’ve been learning. The faster you’ve got the energy moving around you, the…harder you can get hit with whatever you’ve had holding you in place. That’s not a bad thing, though. It’s a very useful opportunity, to clean out that gunk in short order. The trick to cleaning up here is to get plugged in FIRST so you can act from a tuned in, inspired place. This is how you make use of that education and keep moving ahead.
Affirmation: Alligator! Alligators are known often to roll under the water after they’ve snatched their prey. The alligator reminds us our strength is often enhanced by flexibility. The alligator is powerful and his appearance is a good reminder to acknowledge our own power. The alligator lives in water – the element of intuition and emotion. So we, too, live in the same energy. Pay attention to the currents in that regard to keep your vibration clear and make your path easier. It’s all right, you know? It’s all right and you’ll get there. Just roll with it.
Are you feeling the flow? Can you let yourself in there and ride it?
