Do you set intentions for full moons? I do, most of the time. For the recent Gemini moon, I wanted to release what doesn’t serve. This intention fits into my life on multiple levels and to be frank, I don’t have the time or energy for what doesn’t feed either me personally or my goals on a larger scale. Not in the budget anymore!
This week’s Tarot flow forecast? It brings that intention to mind. This is a very practically-oriented spread, with the final goal being to take action. Move! I like that. We’ve got a mix of Majors, Swords (thoughts) and Pentacles (practicalities), with that Ace of Wands (action) as “goal” for good measure. Overall, I expect it to be an productive and well-rounded week.
Monday, Positive Influences – Justice: Balance, fairness and weighing out the concerns of all parties is the way to begin the week. This will set the stage well for the days to come. This would be an excellent time to clarify goals.
Tuesday, Immediate Future – Ace of Swords: You do NOT need the long term figured out right now. But you do need at least one clear, rational strategy to build from, right now. You’re not looking to ride it into next year or next month or even next week, necessarily. You want an idea that takes care of what’s needed in the moment, today and tomorrow. For now is what we’re shooting for.
Wednesday, Relationship – Temperance reversed: I am expecting ongoing adjustments in relationships. Not all knowledge and experience is fully integrated, but hey. We’re working on it! Consider both practical, psychological issues as well as energetic issues. It may seem the two are unrelated, but in reality they are two sides of the same coin.
Thursday, Advice – Knight of Pentacles: The Knight of Pentacles can be a bit OCD, and he’s definitely one to review and categorize. He’s also a very hard worker and sometimes, a bit too serious. His appearance as advice would suggest going over the details, double-checking your facts and plan it out. Things may not go according to your plans, mind you. Truth is, some will not. But you’re still better off here not leaving everything up to chance and doing what you can to make sure all is where you want it to be.
Friday, Hobbies and Talents – Nine of Swords: Anxiety with a side order of guilt is getting in the way of self-expression. Are you self conscious about how others perceive your efforts? Are you prone to feeling guilty for resources you devote to yourself? Because that’s what this looks like to me. Don’t use hobbies to cut yourself off from the rest of the world, either; there is often a sense of isolation that accompanies this card. Also? Getting enough sleep boosts your creativity.
Saturday, Friendship – Ten of Pentacles reversed: Friend serve very important and valuable functions, but do not single-handedly take care of all your emotional needs. Because you know what? That is totally an inside job!
Sunday, Goal – Ace of Wands: The goal here, to begin creation! It’s like the entire week is a buildup to manifesting, setting the stage. Monday, we get grounded and clear on goals. Tuesday, we enact a short-term plan. Wednesday, we deal with personnel issues. Thursday is reviewing the details. Friday is getting over ourselves. Saturday is appreciating the support of loved ones, understanding there are limitations to what you can withdraw from that bank. And Sunday, the spark has been lit and the process is underway.
Overview/Advice – Three of Pentacles reversed: Plan but don’t rigidly adhere to the plans if another, more apt opportunity arises. You know the phrase, “Rules are meant to be broken?” It comes with the caveat that the rules must first be understood. Well, this week, it’s “plans are meant to be changed,” but with the rider than you still need to have plans because they put you in the right place at the right time to get the updated schedule.
Affirmation, Claircognizance– Archangel Uriel: “Pay attention the the thoughts and ideas that come to you, as they are answered prayers.” Uriel’s name means “light of God” or “fire of God” in Hebrew, and he’s known as the angel of wisdom and repentance. We can make use of both this week. Ideas will come to make wanted changes, but in order to do so, we have to be willing to alter course. The opportunities will appear, that’s the Universe’s job. The choices to act on them, ours. If I want to release what doesn’t serve, I have to be willing to actually let go, and focus my own attention on what does.
Shortly after I set my intention, I ended up reading The Four Agreements. In man ways, it was a rather direct answer to my intention. But it’s up to me to act on that knowledge. It wasn’t really in the form I expected, you know? But this week, it’s a lot like that. You’ll get some answers, options for fulfilling your plans. They just won’t show up in the guise you were expecting.

I’m doing a lot of things that are laying groundwork right now. Packing up, getting rid of stuff that needs to go, et cetera, so that whenever I manage to land a job (please, gods, soon) I will be able to act on that information and move as soon as possible. If it’s local, I’m still going to move eventually, so this just makes space for stuff.
Of course, I have no flipping clue what/when/where the job will be, and I’m applying to a lot of different things, but hey – it’s good to purge anyway, and organize, and clean, so why not?
