What Have You Learned Lately?
That’s a question with bite, isn’t it?
Recently, I found myself on the edge of a perspective shift that rattled my foundations. It actually upended perceptions I’d carried with me my entire life.
It got me thinking about how often we confuse beliefs with facts, clinging to our interpretations of reality like lifebuoys of certainty. We treat beliefs as if they’re absolute facts, carved in stone, when in reality, they’re anything but.
Let’s face it—most of what we “know” is, at best, a working theory. The rest? Well, that might just be an elaborate exercise in self-deception. Maybe there’s wisdom in embracing this awareness as we head into next week.
Next Week in the Cards
From Legacy of the Divine deck.
- Outlook: Nine of Pentacles – This week, we stand on firmer ground than before. Hard-won understanding and mastery bring a sense of accomplishment. We’re reaching a point where the fruits of our efforts are evident—skills honed, insights gained. This refinement isn’t just for show; it’s setting the stage for a new phase of clarity.
- Advice: Six of Pentacles – Be generous, but start with yourself. Your resources—whether material, emotional, or energetic—should first fill your own cup before spilling outward. Give what you can, but only what you’ve got in excess. There’s no reward in martyring yourself, only a drain on what you’ve worked to build.
This means having compassion for who you’ve been, the beliefs you held, and the ways you’ve grown. Releasing the need for rigid certainty allows you—and everyone around you—to evolve naturally. And isn’t that the goal? To flow forward, not to be shackled by outdated versions of ourselves?
It also grants you more grace when you encounter others’ beliefs that seem misdirected.
The more softly you approach others’ perspectives—and your own—the smoother your journey. Let the energy flow freely, and you may just find yourself exactly where you’re meant to be.
Now, for you: What have you learned lately? And what are you most certain about that could be open to change? How might embracing that flexibility help you connect more easily with others, even when their truths differ from your own?
