And another example of what makes these positional focus cards so interesting. I’d never have been giving out repeated physically-oriented dailies without so much attention being called to the body this way.
All Tarot Fives are full of struggle. Here, we have a card commonly characterized as “defeat.” And I wonder, which faction do we represent–the victor or the defeated?
If you’re facing a physical challenge at the moment, I’d say you can come out on top but it will be a struggle. Five of Swords victories are not effortlessly gained. If you don’t put in the effort to safeguard you body and health, expect to pay the price for that decision. In no way is this a done deal.
Be willing to set boundaries, say “no,” make reasonable demands, and otherwise ensure your physical environment, needs and overall well-being are attended to. Not a time to skimp on good food, either!
This attention is necessity, not luxury. Care for thy temple. Your efforts will be rewarded.
How’s your health?
