Sometimes, we all need a reminder. And a powerful reminder this is. What a gorgeous Three of Pentacles—er, ah, “Rainbows,” I think. Don’t you just feel better looking at it?
The guidebook with the Osho Zen deck points out the woman in the picture is resisting her spiritual guidance, but I don’t see it like that. I think she just needed a reminder, she doesn’t have to worry quite so much. (My Virgo must be projecting again.)
She has friends in high places, you know? She has helpers she can call on. She’s looking back, probably struggling with some self-doubt or a mistake from her past. We all do it. But her angelic helper is right there, ready for her when she is ready to step forward in her own time.
From what I know, with the exception of extreme or dire circumstances, we have to actually invite the help. Spirit respects free will as the sacred gift that it is to us human types. If you tell your “people” to butt out, they will! The flip side is also true, of course: if you ask, ye shall receive. This is a very powerful piece of wisdom.
Maybe you won’t get exactly what and how you want—okay, I’ll be honest. Almost always not! But it doesn’t mean what you get isn’t both in your highest good and better than what you might have outlined, had you been in charge. We only see the walls of the maze. They can see the overall patterns and layout from the higher vantage point. They know which paths lead to dead ends and which take us to those coveted destinations full of joy and peace.
We create the energy in our lives, we achieve the vibrations and decide what powers to tap as we do so. But we don’t write the script line by line, leastways not that I’ve figured out. If we’re tapping in spiritual magic, once we do, it’s an absolute must to LET GO in faith and let the people upstairs steer. They will get us there, sometimes despite ourselves!
But much like traveling in a car, if the passenger tries to grab the wheel mid-trip, something unpleasant might ensure. Either you trust the driver to navigate once you’ve declared your intended destination, or you don’t. If you don’t, get out of the car and walk! And if you do have faith in your navigators, shut up and look for road signs already.
Personally? I KNOW I don’t know how to get where I’d like to go! So I’m scanning for road signs.
Do you have trouble with backseat driving your guidance?
