“I don’t feel ready,” I just said to a friend.
As soon as I did, I realized the topic was one where I’m not going to actually feel ready until I’m there, really.
That doesn’t mean I cannot prepare, however. And that’s a good thing, because that’s the advice we’ve got for next week.
Next Week in Tarot
The week’s outlook is given in the guise of the reversed Two of Cups, with advice of the reversed Chariot. Cards pictured from the Radiant Rider-Waite mini deck.
I usually read the reversed Two of Cups as an “almost, but not quite” vibe. It’s far from horrific, but the world may feel out of sync, not quite in harmony with your wishes. Something just isn’t quite where you’d like. You may see many aspects of your ideal here, but you’re not in love with the whole package.
In the big picture, less-than-ideal is still a whole lot better than awful, though! Don’t’ forget that. The outlook has softened up over last week, and for that I’m quite grateful.
Pro tip: Appreciate whatever you can among the conditions you find yourself in, and promptly let the rest go to the best of your ability. Expect to see both sorts of elements–wanted and not wanted–in the coming week.
A reversed Chariot as advice would have us prepping to move, but not yet getting in the car. It’s not quite time to go. That could be disconcerting…but it could also be a bit of a relief. Because really, being ready to get something done-and-over-with isn’t the same thing as actually being ready for the next phase.
Which kind of “ready” are you?
This week, it’s your job to find the right kind of ready. It’s the poised-to-move kind of ready you’re reaching for, not the so-over-this ready. Line up those ducks, even if they are a bit unruly right now.
How are your ducks looking?
