“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.” Mahatma Gandhi
Agggh! I’ve pulled this card before for the column—the Cosmic Tarot has one graphic Ten of Swords! My apologies go out to those who read the Everyday Tarot in the morning to anticipate the course of the day. Ummm….I’m sorry, that’s all. But I always go with what I get, you know? And hey, forewarned is better than blindsided.
The upside of the card is that you’ve hit the floor on whatever is giving you that “nails through the head” sensation. The downside, of course, is that “nails through the head” sensation. And in looking this card over today, it strikes me, pay special attention to what comes out of your mouth in this process, okay?
And the sun is up here—nothing is being hidden in the darkness. So whatever the situation, the facts as they stand should be readily recognizable. If you’re wondering when the truth is going to come out, it already has. The facts may be cold and hard, but at least they’re exposed. Once that happens, you can deal with what you’ve got instead of what you want.
It may feel a little brutal, but what I’m seeing here is a massive reality check. Heed it promptly and you can start healing from all those sword wounds.
You have a tough reality check?

On a literal note, “The upside of the card is that you’ve hit the floor on whatever is giving you that “nails through the head” sensation.” is that I’m on the mending side of the tooth abscess. It doesn’t feel much better, so still hurts, but is healing.
Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that.
On the upside, it’s probably reached it’s low point. All better from here, I’m hoping! :-|
